Political and religious parties should not give shelter to terrorists: DG Rangers

Shiite News: DG Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar on Sunday said that the Karachi operation was not against any group or party rather Rangers only aim was to eliminate crimes from the city.

He expressed these views while talking to a 70 member delegation of the All Pakistan Security Services Association led by Brigadier (retd) Rashid Malik at the Rangers Headquarters, Karachi. DG Rangers had briefed the participants of the delegation about the Rangers operation in Karachi.

He said that the Karachi operation was only against criminals and not against any group or party. He also asked the religious and political parties not to provide shelter to terrorists and criminals in their rank and file. The DG Rangers said that the Karachi operation was free of all restrictions including time and speed and it would continue till the complete eradication of terrorism.

He appreciated the efforts of security companies working for protection of citizens’ lives and property and asked them to share information with the law enforcement agencies regularly so that Rangers could devise strategies to deal with terrorists.
