Afghan kidnappers demand Rs40 million ransom for release of 4 Shia traders

The kidnappers have demanded ransom of Rs40 million for the release of four Shiite people from Kurram Agency who were abducted in Afghanistan on Monday 14th March.

Four people belonging to Turi-Bangash tribe of Kurram Agency including Sabir, Naseer, Jalal and Sajid were kidnapped from Shehre Nau area of Paktia province in Afghanistan on Monday. They were in Afghanistan on a business trip. The local people said the kidnappers have contacted the families of the traders and demanded the ransom of Rs40 million.

The elders of Turi-Bangash tribe have appealed to the political administration and Afghan government to help them in safe recovery of their kidnapped men.
