Pakistani banks should immediately resume banking with Iran: State Bank

Shiite News: State Bank reviewed the performance of banks in order to pave the way for trade between Iran and Pakistan in a meeting chaired by the State Banks’ executive director.

The executive director of the central bank directed all banks and financial institutions of the country to reactivate banking channels in order to bring the economic and trade relations between Iran and Pakistan back to normal.

The bank had informed all banks of Pakistan through a notice two weeks earlier that all banking relations with Iran could now be resumed since all sanctions have been uplifted from Iran.
