ATC rejects police demand for remand of innocent Shia Youth

Anti-Terrosim Court has rejected the police demand for remand of innocent Shia youth Agha Farrukh alias Mohni who had tried to save Masjid-O-Imam Bargah Hussaini Shah Faisal Colony from takfiri terrorists attack.

Tasawwur Hussain Rizvi Advocate, chief of Jafaria Legal Aid, defended Agha Farrukh in the ATC saying his client was an innocent and law abiding citizen and police was trying to implicate in false cases.

The ATC ordered that Agha Farrukh be sent to jail custody instead of police remand. Reports had it that police tortured him severely to force him to confess the crimes he has not been involved in.

Shia parties and leaders have condemned the police torture on the innocent Shia youth and demanded judiciary to take suo motu notice of police torture and punish the involved cops.
