Seminaries of Punjab receive highest foreign aid

Shiite News: A private television channel has presented a report regarding the foreign aid provided to seminaries in Pakistan according to which 188 seminaries in Pakistan were given foreign aid and the providers of aid also include the US, Britain, South Africa and Thailand in addition to Muslim countries.

According to the report, 12 seminaries of KPK, 23 of Baluchistan, 6 of Sindh and 147 seminaries of Punjab receive foreign aid. The report further states that heads of seminaries even visited some countries in order to receive aid.

Countries providing funding to seminaries include Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Iran, Turkey, the US, Britain, South Africa, Iraq and many others.
