First anniversary of Chilas Massacre being observed on Sunday

Hundreds of thousands from Gilgti-Baltistan province will participate in the programme of first anniversary of Martyrs of Chilas Tragedy on Sunday.

Allama Agha Syed Abbas Rizvi, President of Anjuman Imamia Baltistan told a press conference that a mammoth Shohda Conference will be held in Skardu. Anjuman Imamia and the families of the martyrs host the conference in which religious scholars of all over Pakistan and officials of all Shia parties will attend.

Allama Rizvi condemned the government and security agencies for their failure to arrest and punish the terrorists involved in Chilas massacre. He said that despite lapse of a year, the terrorists are free and certainly they would be planning for another heinous carnage of innocent Shia Muslims.

He said that Shia Muslims who are to attend the Shohda-e-Chilas Conference will announce their course of action against the inaction against the terrorists.
