Threats of terrorist attacks on Karachi jails

Shiite News: Sindh’s IG of Prisons has directed authorities of both the jails in Karachi to further strengthen the security in view of threats of terrorist attacks on Karachi jails.

According to information, IG Sindh Nusrat Hussain Mangan has issued written directives to Deputy Superintendents of Karachi’s central and Malir jail Shakir Huusain Shah and Mureed Abbas Sheikh respectively in which it has been said that arrested terrorists of Al-Qaeda of the subcontinent and TTP revealed during investigations that terrorists have been planning attacks on both the Karachi jails and therefore, any error in security could cause serious repercussions and hence the authorities of jails have been directed to further strengthen jails security.
