Who is Farroq Bhatti?

Shiite News: Farooq Bhatti alias Masna is Al-Qaeda’s terrorist who was recently arrested from Gulshan e Iqbal in Karachi. He was involved in various major terrorist acts in the country.

Farooq Bhatti belongs to Gujranwala but he was born in Karachi. He got his early education from a school, Aqsa mosque and a madarsa in Majeed colony, Landhi after which he completed intermediate from federal Urdu science college. According to security sources, he had worked as a crime reporter in a local newspaper. He married twice. His second wife is told to be the sister of major criminal involved in corps commander attack.

Bhatti told during investigation that he had promised his second wife that he would get her brother released from jail. He was supposed to get Ahmed Umar Sheik, Shahzad Bajwa and his associate Rao Khalid released from jail.

Bhatti received the training for using arms and making bombs from Gilgit in 2003 and from Afghanistan in 2006 and he is an expert of making vehicles filed with explosive material. He had joined sub-continent’s Al-Qaeda from LeJ.

He was involved in Karachi airport attack, PAF base attack, attack on Chaudhry Aslam and Farooq Awan, attack on FIA building Lahore, ISI building Lahore and Sukkur, Kamra Airbase attack and various other incidents. The terrorist had also killed police officers, Bahauddin Babar, Majeed Abbas, Ejaz Haider, Randhawa advocate and others.

Sources told that police had also played a major role with security agencies, in the terrorist’s arrest and several officials of Malir police were also injured in the operation.
