Shiekupura: Seven terrorists killed by CTD
Shiite News: CTD has claimed to kill seven terrorists of banned TTP and LeJ, during an encounter in Sheikhupura.
Sources told that when CTD carried out a raid on a house located at Sharqpur road in Sheikhupura upon secret information, terrorists present in the house started firing and even attacked security forces with hand grenades. According to CTD, three terrorists were killed during retaliatory action by the police whereas four terrorists were killed when they were trying to run away on motorcycles.
CTD officials told that a group of 12 terrorists was hiding in the house and the encounter with them continued for 2 hours however, 5 terrorists succeeded in running away due to the dark.
Killed terrorists belonged to banned TTP and LeJ and they were to carry out huge terrorist acts in Lahore and Sheikhupura, including a plan to target security forces, CTD officials told.
