Tens of thousands of supporters from Karachi to attend Quran-O-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) Conference:

MWM Tens of thousands of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s supporters from Karachi will participate in the first huge public meeting of the MWM in Hyderabad on Sunday March 24. This was announced by Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi, secretary general of the MWM, speaking at a press conference at Masjid/Imam Bargah Ali Raza (AS) on Friday. “The MWM’s supporters have made all arrangements to leave for Hyderabad to attend Quran-O-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) Conference on Sunday,” he said. Allama Taqvi said that the MWM’s supporters would reach Hyderabad boarding cars, buses and trains. He demanded that the government must provide security to all the participants who would throng the Hyderabad Bypass to attend the conference. He demanded that security in all over Sindh should be beefed up for their safe arrival and safe return to their home towns. MWM’s official said that the government and police failed to defeat terrorists and they try to create bottlenecks in the way of Conference that is being held by the patriot and law abiding MWM. “Quran-O-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) Conference of the MWM is being held to mobilize public opinion against the terrorists and promote the message of unity and fraternity,” he said adding that the takfiri terrorists have destroyed the peace and fabrics of society by their nefarious activities. He said there must be zero tolerance against these terrorists and they must be eliminated through army operation without any delay “We shall not tolerate any plot against the holding of the conference. Government should shoulder its responsibility by providing security instead of making lame excuse of security threats,” he urged. Allama Sadiq Taqvi said that the MWM wants stability of and peace in Pakistan. He said that the government’s approach to stop anti-terrorists efforts instead of taking action against the terrorists is deleterious for Pakistan. He reiterated that government officials and security agencies are also under constant threat but they don’t care the terrorists and continue to perform their duties by adopting foolproof security. Hence, they should provide foolproof security for this anti-terrorism and pro-Pakistan conference too.
