Three grenade attacks hit Karachi within two hours
Shiite News: Three grenade attacks hit Karachi on Friday within two hours injuring at least six people, local media reported.
The first attack was on a police station in Mobina Town, injuring one police man named Asif Ali Lashari.
The second attack was on a girls college in Kareemabad whereas the third grenade attack hit a school in North Nazimabad.
These attacks have taken place at a time when DG IB Aftab Sultan recently claimed in Senate’s standing committee meeting that Daesh’s network, planning for targeting educational institutions, has been arrested but today’s attacks, two of which took place on educational institutions, proved the need to further speed up the operation against terrorists and their facilitators. The attacks could have been planned to prove that intelligence agencies’ success wasn’t that big and to overcome the desperation among terrorists.
DG IB also told that LeJ, Sipah e Sahaba and Taliban have strong relations with each other.
