SC stays execution of three APS attackers

Shiite News: The Supreme Court stayed on Tuesday the execution of three men involved in the Army Public School attack.

A two-judge bench including Justice Dost Muhammad and Qazi Faiz Esa stayed the execution of convicts. Terrorists named Ali Rehman, Muhammad Zubair and Taj Muhammad were convicted by the military court for facilitating the deadly attack on APS after which their counsel Latif Afridi, on behalf of their families, took up their petitions to the apex court.

Terrorists of banned TTP had attacked the army-run school on December 16, 2014 that killed over 150, mostly children. Four terrorists involved in the APS massacre were hanged at a jail in Kohat in December last year. The hangings were the first executions of civilians convicted by Pakistan’s military courts.
