Will visit Tehran next month for new dialogue on Gas Pipeline Project: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

Pakistan’s Minister for Petroleum and Natural resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while talking to a correspondent of Iran’s news agency on Thursday said that he would visit Tehran in coming 10 days in order to start a new phase of dialogue on Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline Project.

He told that is going to visit Tehran upon the invitation of his Iranian counterpart whose purpose is to speed up the construction of gas pipeline now after the uplifting of bans from Iran.

He further said ‘we had earlier requested Iran for negotiations on gas pipeline project and now Iran, after the uplifting of bans, have invited us to visit Tehran. Matters related to mutual cooperation in different areas,, including gas pipeline project, will be discussed with Iranian Minister for petroleum Bijan Namdar Zangeneh’.
