Karachi: Police Terrorism in Mehmoodabad, 8 Innocent Shia youngsters and Trustees Arrested

Shiite News: Inncoent Shia youngster and trustees of mosques and Imambargahs have been arrested by police in a raid from Mehmoodabad area of Karachi.

According to Shia News reporter, they have been arrested without any crime or charge and they included Shia youngsters and trustees of mosques and Imambargahs.  

8 Shia Muslims have been arrested by the police which destroyed the sanctity of houses and arrested people from Mehmoodabad. Police is also not able to tell the crimes of arrested people. Local people have delcared it as police terrorism and asked for justice to senior ruling elite. 

Families of affected people reported that police has been demanding 2 lac per person for their release. On the other hand, Shia organizations, especially MWM, has contacted senior officials and reported them about the whole situation and police terrorism in Mehmoodabad.
