7 terrorists of LeJ involved in attacks on media houses arrested

Shiite News: Law enforcement agencies have claimed to arrest 7 terrorists of LeJ involved in attacks on media houses.

According to a private television channel’s report, secret agencies arrested Saif Ullah and Waheed along with their 5 associates from Samanabad area of Lahore in a raid. Report says that maps of media houses, literature and arms were also recovered from militants’ custody.

Sources told that terrorists claimed the responsibility of attacking Din News’ office, located in Gulberg, in which 3 people were injured, including 2police officials.

The private television channel’s office was targeted on 1st December 2015 when terrorists riding a motorcycle threw a hand grenade at the gate of private channel’s office and ran away. Some unknown terrorists had earlier attacked Dunya News’ office in Faisalabad as well but they left pamphlets with the name of IS Khorasan.

IS Khorasan is allegedly a branch of Daesh for Pakistan and Afghanistan which had claimed the responsibility of attacks.
