A person arrested for protesting against Saudi Arabia

Shiite News: Police has arrested a person for protesting against Saudi Arabia and for trying to enter in the Diplomatic enclave.

According to police, few dozen people were gathered near the diplomatic enclave at Shams gate on Wednesday and protested against Kashmir issue and Saudi Arabia. Protestors were also holding play cards on which anti-Saudi Arabia slogans were written. Since there is a ban on such activities in the city, police dispersed the demonstrators however, police told that one person remained there whose name was Syed Nasir Mehdi.

Police told that the person refused to go away from there and even tried to enter diplomatic enclave an to go towards Saudi consulate although he was warned that entering the enclave and protesting has been banned.

The person, according to police, entered the diplomatic enclave and started running towards Saudi consulate but police arrested him inside the enclave and shifted him to secretariat police station where a FIR was registered against him under act 144 of Criminal procedure court. Later on, the person was presented in the court and was send to jail on judicial remand.
