Allama Raja Nasir Abbas telephoned Chaudhry Shuja’at, discussed country’s situation

Shiite News: MWM’s secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas telephoned Pakistan Muslim League-Q’s leader Chaudhry Shuja’at to discuss international situation and Pakistan’s role in it. Allama Raja Nasir said “in current situation Pakistan should play the role of an arbitrator between two Islamic countries so that international powers could not take advantage of the situation”. He also said that Pakistan’s involvement in the 34 countries’ military alliance was not acceptable at any cost and dangerous for Pakistan. He further said “Pakistan should form its independent foreign policy because the policy based on Saudi interests would alienate Pakistan in the region”. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas also strongly condemned Sheikh Nimr’s execution.

Chaudhry Shuja’at agreed with Allama Raja Nasir Abbas’ stance that Pakistan should play the role of a mediator between Iran and Saudi Arabia so that an immediate solution of this conflict could be found. He also assured that his party would play its role in this regard.
