ISIL Commander Aamir Mansoor Arrested in Islamabad
The Pakistani security forces arrested ISIL’s top commander or Emir of Islamabad Aamir Mansoor during countrywide anti-terrorism operations.
According to the police, the ISIL commander was recruiting young people for about 35 to 40 thousands Pakistani rupee per month.
Aamir Mansoor has given the list of the Pakistani recruits to the security agency during the initial phase of interrogations, Pakistan’s abbtakk.tv said.
He has also revealed that he has sent young people to Afghanistan and Damascus to fight for the ISIL terrorist group. “They were trained by ISIL militants in Afghanistan under the charge of Mullah Mohammad Abdul Rauf,” Mansoor has confessed.
Security forces said they need to continue interrogation of Mansoor before they could reveal any further detail about the case.
Yet, they said that as a result of the case they now know that the terrorist group uses social media platforms along with the chat rooms of gaming sites to recruit young people for the ISIL terrorist group.
