Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister’s visit postponed due to public reaction against Sheikh Nimr’s martyrdom

Shiite News: Saudi Foreign Minister has postponed his visit to Pakistan due to public reaction against the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sheikh Nimr.

According to Shiite News, Saudi Foreign Minister was to visit Pakistan on Tuesday to meet the civil and military leadership of the country regarding Pakistan’s involvement in the 34 countries’ military alliance however, after the strong reaction by both Shia and Sunni Muslims of Pakistan against the martyrdom f Ayatollah Baqar al Nimr, Saudi Foreign Minister has postponed his visit. Sources told that his visit has been rescheduled on 7th January.  

Saudi Arabia’s renowned Shia leader Ayatollah Baqar al Nimr was executed by the Saudi Government on 2nd January after which protests have been conducted all over the world.
