Rabi ul awal’s sacred month is the strongest cord of unity and harmony: Allama Amin Shahedi
Central deputy General Secretary of MWM Pakistan Allama Amin Shahedi while talking to a press conference declared rabi ul awal’s sacred month as the strongest cord of unity and harmony. He said “all sects of Muslim Ummah could be united by love and brotherhood by celebrating Milad of the last Prophet (PBUH)”. He also announced that MWM is going to celebrate ‘whadat (unity) week’ nationwide from 12th to 17th Rabi ul awal and ‘seerat conferences’ and seminars would be organized during these days by MWM. He also announced that wahdat scouts would perform security duties in central Milad programs in different cities.
Allama Amin Shahedi further said “some extremists and foreign elements, sometimes as friends and sometimes as enemies, have been trying to divide Shia and Sunnis on the basis of only 10% differences and forgetting 90% similarities but we need to ignore minor differences and spread brotherhood to make Pakistan a state free from all prejudices and biases”. He also demanded state institutions to take effective measures against such elements that have been sowing seeds of hatred among the people of Pakistan.
“Shias and Sunnis have been unitedly fighting the war against terrorism in all Muslim countries including Iran and Syria”, he added.
While answering a question regarding Saudi Arabia’s military alliance Allama Shahedi said “the alliance made in drawing room will not work practically and expression of concerns by different countries is the proof of its faultiness. Most of the countries whose names were in the list presented to the world were unaware of joining any such alliance that surely is shameful for Saudi princes. In order to make the coalition appear as a strong one some countries where Muslims are in minority have also been included in it. The coalition is in fact a plan to divide Muslims in Middle East”.
He also asked Pakistani rulers to show astuteness and refrain from becoming a part of any such conspiracy. Allama Amin Shahedi reiterated the fact that the constitution and law of Pakistan also do not allow the country to be a part of any military alliance apart from those of the UN.
