Protest rally against Dr. Ali Haidar’s murder

All doctors’ organisations and medical professors including PMA, YDA and medical teachers association rallied in Lahore against the murder of renowned Shia Professor and Doctor Ali Haidar and his son Ali Murtaza.

The rally started from King Edward Medical University and concluded at Nila Gumbad.
Earlier, a condolence reference for the departed souls of Prof Dr. Ali Haidar and his son was held in KEMU. A glowing tribute was paid to Dr Ali Haidar on the occasion.

The speakers said that Prof Dr. Ali Haidar was an icon in the profession of medical science and his death caused a lacuna, which could not be filled in days to come.

Addressing the reference, Dr Ali’s father, Prof Dr. Zafar Haidar said that spreading knowledge and education would be ultimately a real tribute to the services of late Prof Dr. Ali Haidar.

Dr Ali. Haider and his son were shot martyred in a targeted attack of nasbi takfiri terrorists in Lahore.
