Karachi: Protest against Shia genocide in Nigeria and the arrest of Sheikh Zakazy

Shiite News: MWM staged a protest against Shia genocide in Nigeria and the arrest of Shia leader Sheikh Zakzaky in which hundreds of people and a large number of Ulema participated.

Protestors staged a demonstration outside Karachi press Club where speakers strongly condemned the violation of Human Rights by Nigerian army and the silence of international leaders and Human Rights organizations over the massacre. According to speakers “Israel and the US are afraid of increasing Shia preaching in Nigeria and therefore, efforts for suppressing Shiite in Nigeria have been carried out upon Saudi and Israeli wishes. Speakers accosted the Nigerian ambassador in Pakistan and said ‘we will march toward Nigerian embassy in Islamabad if the state terrorism against Shia Muslims in Nigeria is not stopped’

Demonstrators also appealed the UN to ban Nigerian army on Human grounds because it misused its powers and killed more than a thousand women, children, old age people, and youngsters and arrested their leader in inured condition.
