Professor Shakeel Auj and Waheed ur Rahman’s killer turns out to be Naib-Ameer of subcontinent’s Al-Qaeda and son of a renowned political figure

Shiite News: It has been revealed about the killer of Professors of University of Karachi Shakeel Auj and Waheed ur Rahman that he is the son of a renowned political figure of Karachi and an important activist of Al-Qaeda subcontinent and probably Naib-Ameer of his group. After the arrest of the terrorist around 10-12 of his companions have also been arrested.

Some members of the arrested group were working on drone related technology. According to senior security officials, they had planned to bring down a drone first by making it dark in front of drone camera after which its signals would be jammed and then it would be brought down. Three members of the arrested group are engineers. Proofs were found during investigations that subcontinent’s Al-Qaeda had planned to carry out attacks, through this group, at Head quarter of a secret agency located in Karachi, corps Head-Quarter Karachi and at other important military offices located in Karachi.

The group had also planned to target important military officers outside Malir Cantt and the terroists had also completed officers’ raki . Another source revealed that the group was allegedly working on drones which can be used for attacking the most important military installments of the city. Members of the terrorist group were arrested from Punjab and Karachi whereas some were also arrested from inside Malir Cantt. Although people arrested from Malir Cannt had never participated in any terrorist activity but they have been alleged to be working for Al-Qaeda subcontinent and its major leaders.

A similar plan was revealed in September 2013 when a team of police and secret agencies raided a house named Gilani Manzil in G-10 sector of Islamabad and found small drones prepared by the house’s resident Professor Artyaz Gilani. Professor Artyaz Gilani was educated from Ghulan Ishaq Khan Institute. After completing his education, Professor Artyaz joined International Islamic University Islamabad as a Lecturer. He allegedly prepared those drones for attacking General (r) Pervaiz Musharrf’s farm Hosuse in Chak Shahzad.
