Nigerian cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky’s arrest and massacre of hundreds of innocent citizens an open violation of Human Rights: Allama Raja Nasir Abbas

MWM Pakistan’s head Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri strongly condemned the state’s torture on the leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria Ayatollah Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and said that military’s attacks on Nigeria’s respectable person Shiekh Ibrahim Zakzay, who is also a proponent of unity among all Muslims (Ittehad e Bain ul Muslimeen), his arrest for no reason and massacre of hundreds of his supporters were open violations of Human Rights. He also condemned the role of international community that raised its voice against France’s attacks but has been silent over the atrocities committed in Nigeria. Allama Nasir Abbas further said “terrorism is condemnable act in every form, on every person and in every region of the world”. He also demanded the UN and OIC to take notice of increasing conflict and violence and killings of innocent people in Nigeria.
