Quetta: Blast near FC Check post by Taiban, one official killed, 4 injured

Shiite News: One FC official was killed whereas 3 officials and one child were injured in a blast near FC check post at Barvari road in Quetta, the capital city of Baluchistan, according to rescue officials.

According to eye witnesses, the blast was very powerful and the explosion sound was heard far away that caused fear among local people. Bomb Disposal Squad told that the blast was conducted through remote control device and 4-5 kg of explosive was used in it.

Police and FC reached the location soon after the attack, cordon off the area and started search operation whereas injured FC officials and the child were shifted to civil hospital where one official succumbed to death.

Anti-Pakistan outlawed organization TTP accepted the responsibility of the attack.
