Important Educational and Training Workshop for Preachers Held Under the Auspices of Majlis Ulama-e-Imamia Pakistan

Shiite News: An important training workshop was organized under the auspices of Majlis Ulama-e-Imamia Pakistan to enhance the academic, religious and preaching capabilities of Imamia preachers. A large number of Friday and congregational prayer leaders and preachers from Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Faisalabad and Shorkot participated in the workshop.

During the workshop, detailed discussions were held on a range of important academic, religious and training topics, including “The Seerah of the Sadiqayn: A Practical Model for Preachers,” Tajweed, practical jurisprudence—particularly Khums—and contemporary issues.

The speakers highlighted the modern requirements of religious preaching, the importance of enhancing the scholarly capabilities of preachers, staying informed about contemporary circumstances and receiving practical training.

They emphasized that effective religious preaching is an essential need of the present time for providing intellectual and spiritual guidance to society. For this purpose, preachers must make full use of their academic and practical abilities.

On the occasion, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Syed Javed Shirazi, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Muhammad Ali Sharifi, Hujjat al-Islam Maulana Zaigham Abbas, and other prominent religious scholars delivered scholarly and training-oriented lectures on various subjects.

Participants described the educational and intellectual gathering as a highly beneficial and commendable initiative for strengthening the training and professional capabilities of religious preachers.
