Pakistan Being Pushed Into Yemen War Through Troubling Efforts, Warns Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi
Shiite News: Head of the Movement for Awakening of the Muslim Ummah, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, has warned that troubling efforts are once again being made to push Pakistan into the conflict in Yemen. He urged the government and state institutions to exercise extreme caution and avoid becoming involved in any external war.
Addressing a gathering, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi said that the wave of oppression and aggression that began in Palestine eventually reached Iran, but Allah Almighty thwarted all the conspiracies and plans of the oppressors. He said the United States and its allies were continuing to move toward humiliation, while statements by Donald Trump and his associates reflected growing frustration. He added that their claims regarding Hezbollah, Hamas and Palestine had proven to be completely contrary to realities on the ground.
Referring particularly to the resistance in Yemen, he said the situation there had changed the dynamics of the entire region. According to him, a war that had initially been considered easy had instead created serious difficulties for its adversaries, while their actions had also contributed to the closure of an important maritime route such as the Bab al-Mandab.
Speaking about Pakistan’s role and internal security, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi recalled that Parliament had acted wisely in the past by preventing Pakistan from becoming a party to the Yemen war. However, he said that some circles were once again showing enthusiasm for military action in Yemen.
He urged the government to ensure that state forces, and particularly non-state actors, were not used in the war of another country under any circumstances. He argued that groups prepared during the Afghan war had eventually become a threat to Pakistan’s own security, warning that creating similar forces for Syria or Yemen could produce disastrous consequences in the future.

Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi further stated that those who were expecting success from Donald Trump and his policies needed to recognize the realities. He warned those closely aligned with Trump to reconsider their position, claiming that Trump was heading toward political failure and that its signs were visible across the world.
He concluded that the prevailing situation in the Middle East requires Pakistan to prioritize its national security, economy and national interests and completely avoid becoming fuel for any external war.
