Married Woman Reportedly Killed in Rawalpindi; Police Launch Search for Suspects
Shiite News: A tragic incident has been reported in Rawalpindi, where a married woman was allegedly killed in the jurisdiction of the Ratta Amral Police Post.
According to the report, suspects allegedly affiliated with the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi shot the woman and killed her. The report identifies the suspects as members of the proscribed militant organization.
The report further states that the suspects allegedly abducted the woman’s brother and issued serious threats against him. It adds that fear has spread in the area, with the victim’s parents reportedly reluctant to pursue the case because of concerns for their safety.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi Police have taken notice of the incident and launched an operation to locate and arrest the suspects. Police are reportedly conducting raids in different areas as part of efforts to apprehend those allegedly responsible and bring them before the law.
