CTD and Police Conduct Joint Operation in Bannu, Five Suspected Militants Reportedly Killed

Shiite News: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Bannu Region and local police reportedly carried out a joint operation in Bannu district based on intelligence information, in which five suspected militants affiliated with the proscribed Sipah-e-Sahaba were reportedly killed.

According to sources, an intense exchange of fire took place during the operation, resulting in the deaths of five suspected militants, while several others reportedly managed to escape.

The security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to prevent the suspected militants from regrouping, according to the report.
