Man Accused of Harassing Woman Arrested in Karachi

Shiite News: A man accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior toward a female passerby in Karachi’s Orangi Town has been arrested. According to police officials, the suspect, identified as Owais, was taken into custody from the Pakistan Bazaar area after a video allegedly showing him harassing a woman circulated widely on social media.

Police reportedly used the viral video to identify the suspect and subsequently took action against him. During questioning, the arrested suspect allegedly told investigators that the incident took place on August 21, 2026, near Orangi Sector A-15. Law-enforcement authorities have registered a case against the suspect under the relevant legal provisions and launched further investigation.
