Shiite News: Allama Ashfaq Wahidi, a leader of the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, attended the Azadari procession in Garja Road, Rawalpindi, on 30 Safar al-Muzaffar, along with a delegation. The delegation included Syed Qasim Naqvi, Syed Ahsan Naqvi, Syed Imran, Syed Nizakat Shah, and Syed Hasnain Raza.
On the occasion, police administration officials, organizers of religious gatherings, matami leaders, and believers met with Allama Ashfaq Wahidi and apprised him of the difficulties and challenges faced during the observance of Azadari for Imam Hussain (AS).
Addressing the believers, Allama Ashfaq Wahidi said that, on the directives of Pakistan’s Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafria, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, organizational leaders are working effectively at the government level to address obstacles and difficulties facing Azadari of Imam Hussain (AS).
He strongly urged the government to immediately withdraw all alleged false cases registered against organizers of religious gatherings, administrators, matami leaders, and believers from Muharram onwards.
The Shia Ulema Council Pakistan leader further said that unity, solidarity, brotherhood, patience, tolerance, and mutual understanding are defining characteristics of the Shia community.
