Pakistan-Iran Joint Trade Committee’s 10th Meeting to Be Held in Islamabad; Progress on Free Trade Agreement Expected

Islamabad: The 10th meeting of the Pakistan-Iran Joint Trade Committee will be held in Islamabad on August 4 and 5, with senior officials from both countries participating.

Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Seyed Mohammad Atabak, will lead a high-level delegation to Islamabad to attend the meeting.

During the session, both sides are expected to hold detailed discussions on the progress of the Pakistan-Iran Free Trade Agreement (FTA), simplifying transit procedures, strengthening border infrastructure, and expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

The meeting is being viewed as a significant step toward enhancing economic ties and increasing bilateral trade between the two neighboring countries, reflecting a new phase in Pakistan-Iran relations.
