Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Shia Pakistan Delegation Returns After Attending Funeral Ceremonies of Martyred Supreme Leader

Shiite News: Maulana Syed Zia-ul-Hasan Naqvi, Secretary General of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Shia Pakistan, said that, on the instructions of Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi, a high-level delegation from the federation and Jamia-tul-Muntazar participated in the funeral procession, funeral prayers, and condolence ceremonies held for the martyred Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution. He said the delegation conveyed the Pakistani people’s appreciation for the courage, resilience, and steadfastness of the Iranian nation and expressed solidarity with them.

Speaking to the media upon returning to Jamia-tul-Muntazar, he stated that the participation of scholars and delegations from around the world reflected the unity of the Muslim Ummah. He added that the delegation, representing Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Shia Pakistan, included himself, Maulana Dr. Syed Muhammad Najafi, Maulana Muhammad Tahseen, and Maulana Lal Hussain Tauheedi.

The delegation described its visit to Iran as a significant spiritual, scholarly, and diplomatic mission aimed at promoting Muslim unity, strengthening religious ties, and honoring the memory of martyrs. According to the statement, the delegation attended the large funeral ceremony in Tehran, where mourners paid tribute to the late leader.

During the visit, the delegation also met several prominent Iranian religious figures, including Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi, Ayatollah Ramazani, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, and Dr. Ali Abbasi. They conveyed condolences, greetings, and best wishes on behalf of Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi, President of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Shia Pakistan.
