Shiite News: Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, head of Tehreek-e-Bedari Ummat-e-Mustafa Pakistan and principal of Jamia Urwatul Wuthqa Lahore, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of the renowned Sunni Islamic scholar of the Indian subcontinent, Maulana Syed Salman Husaini Nadwi. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the wider scholarly community.

Full Text of the Condolence Message:

إِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

We express our profound sorrow and grief over the passing of the distinguished Islamic scholar of the Indian subcontinent, eminent thinker, revered Muhaddith, prolific author, eloquent orator, leading figure of Nadwatul Ulama, admirer and defender of the greatness of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), preacher of love for the Family of the Prophet (peace be upon him), advocate of their lofty status, caller towards Muslim unity, and one of the most influential scholarly and religious personalities of the Muslim world, Maulana Syed Salman Husaini Nadwi (may Allah have mercy on him).

Maulana Syed Salman Husaini Nadwi’s personality was a remarkable combination of knowledge, insight, courage in speaking the truth, love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt, defense of the honor of the Family of the Prophet, and deep concern for the Muslim Ummah. Throughout his life, he consistently highlighted the love, virtues, and elevated status of the Ahl al-Bayt as a vital spiritual and religious treasure for the Muslim community.
