10 Taliban terrorists among 100 detained as Rangers speed up operation in Karachi

Rangers have intensified the operation against criminal elements in Karachi and conducted various raids throughout the city. The number of terrorists arrested reached to 100 in last 48 hours.

According to details, Karachi operation has been intensified in order to ensure peace in the city and more than two dozen terrorists were arrested in various raids on Sunday. 10 terrorists of banned Tehreek e Taliban were arrested from Liyari, Machar Colony and Ittehad Town whereas 5 were arrested from Peerabad, Frontier and Bilal Colony.

Sindh Rangers carried out raid in Ittehad Town after they received information of the presence of criminals and suspects and arrested 6 terrorists of TTP who were then shifted to an unknown location for investigations. In another raid, Rangers arrested 15 terrorists involved in target killing and extortion from Alfalah, Safoora and Sarjani Town. During the raids carried out on Sunday 70 criminals were arrested whereas 4 were killed in an encounter near Northern Bypass.

It should be clear that DG Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar directed to intensify the Karachi operation.
