Shaheed-e-Ummat Conference at Minar-e-Pakistan Expected to Draw Massive Public Participation, Showcase Historic Muslim Unity

Lahore: At a press conference organized by the Ittehad-e-Ummat Forum, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi, and Allama Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi addressed the media. Also present were ISO Pakistan Central President Syed Muhammad Amin Shirazi, Maulana Zaheer Karbalai, Lal Mehdi Khan, and several prominent religious and social figures.

Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi stated that the gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan would not only serve as a major symbol of Muslim unity and national solidarity but would also project Pakistan’s positive, peaceful, and responsible image to the world. He described the path of Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei as one of Muslim unity, steadfastness, and support for oppressed people.

He said that Pakistan is facing insecurity, terrorism, and various internal and external challenges. Under such circumstances, the Shia community of Pakistan and all patriotic citizens would continue to play a constructive role in promoting peace, stability, and national development. He also praised the military and political leadership for their efforts in regional reconciliation and mediation.

Allama Jawad Naqvi thanked the Government of Pakistan, particularly the Government of Punjab, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, and relevant authorities for granting permission for the Shaheed-e-Ummat Conference. He emphasized that the event would be held in full compliance with all official regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi stated that various Shia and Sunni organizations, including Jamaat-e-Islami, had been invited to participate in the conference. Allama Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi said that all preparations had been completed and that hundreds of thousands of people were expected to attend and pay tribute to Shaheed-e-Ummat.

The conference is expected to send a clear message of Shia-Sunni unity in Pakistan and national solidarity with Iran.
