MWM Sindh Holds Important Meeting with DIG Sukkur Range for Peaceful Muharram Arrangements

Sukkur: The Provincial President of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Sindh, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, along with a delegation, met DIG Sukkur Range Mr. Nasir Aftab at his office. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding Muharram-ul-Haram arrangements, the law and order situation, and issues faced by mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S.).

The delegation included MWM Azadari Wing Sindh President Syed Ghulam Shabbir Naqvi, Jafaria Alliance Larkana Division President Wazir Ali Mashhadi, MWM Azadari Wing Sindh General Secretary Babar Ali Abro, Provincial Secretary for Organization Maulana Munawar Hussain Solangi, Zawar Dildar Hussain Golaato, and other leaders. Former MWM Sindh Provincial General Secretary Chaudhry Azhar Hassan was also present.

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki stated that the mourning of Sayyid al-Shuhada Imam Hussain (A.S.) is a continuation of the Karbala movement. Ensuring its peaceful observance is a shared responsibility of state institutions and the public. He stressed the need to curb the hateful activities of banned terrorist organizations.

He also demanded adequate security arrangements and administrative facilities for mourning gatherings, processions, and other religious events. Syed Ghulam Shabbir Naqvi emphasized ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply during the days of mourning and urged authorities to direct WAPDA accordingly.

DIG Sukkur Nasir Aftab assured the delegation that all possible measures would be taken to protect the lives and property of mourners and maintain peace and order during Muharram-ul-Haram. He appreciated the cooperation of religious scholars and organizational leaders.

The meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation between state institutions and Shia leadership to ensure the peaceful observance of religious mourning activities.
