“Trusting America Is Foolish; U.S. Undermined Pakistan’s Efforts for Iran-U.S. Ceasefire, Says Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri”

According to Shiite News, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Central General Secretary and Member of Parliament Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri stated that Pakistan had taken commendable steps to facilitate a ceasefire between Iran and the United States. However, he said that trusting America is foolish, adding that the U.S. attack has undermined Pakistan’s efforts.

Speaking to media representatives at his residence in Qalat, he said that he had recently visited China and Saudi Arabia and did not witness any increase in petroleum product prices there. He remarked that despite Iran being in a state of war, inflation was not as severe as in Pakistan. He accused the country’s rulers of exploiting the public and burdening them with rising costs to sustain their lavish lifestyles.

Haideri further said that the situation in Balochistan is deteriorating and moving toward destruction. He urged the government to come to its senses and take immediate action. He added that protests against rising inflation have already begun across the country, and a major protest gathering will be held in Pishin on June 4.

He also demanded equal salary treatment for all government employees in Pakistan. He said that the DRA allowance is the rightful entitlement of Balochistan’s employees and called on the provincial government to provide the allowance without delay, in line with other provinces. He further urged the government to increase employees’ salaries in the upcoming budget according to the inflation rate.
