He made the announcement during a large gathering held at his residence. He stated that he has no personal interest or greed involved and is joining Meesam’s camp solely because he is impressed by his vision. He urged the public to remember the contributions of Agha Ali Rizvi and not leave Kazim Meesam alone, encouraging them to run a strong election campaign for his success.

Wazir Ghulam Abbas further said that since the creation of Pakistan, if any truly capable leader has emerged, it is Muhammad Kazim Meesam. Supporting him, he added, is a national, religious, and moral obligation for everyone. He warned that failing to support such a leader would be a great injustice to the nation.

Addressing the gathering, Muhammad Kazim Meesam described Wazir Ghulam Abbas as a principled, fearless, and courageous man. He said he is proud to receive support from personalities who have bravely fought for the rights of the people.

Kazim Meesam called Wazir Ghulam Abbas the “brand of Gilgit-Baltistan” and said future decisions would be made after consultation with elders. He also expressed regret that the community often fails to appreciate courageous personalities like Agha Ali Rizvi and Wazir Ghulam Abbas.
