Iran’s Resistance Has Turned America Into a Helpless Power, Says Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi

Shiite News: Head of Tehreek Bedari Ummat-e-Mustafa, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, while addressing a gathering in Lahore, stated that Iran’s unparalleled resistance has significantly weakened the United States on the global stage and pushed it towards decline. As evidence, he referred to former US President Donald Trump’s recent “humiliating” visit to China.

He said that the same America which once threatened China over Taiwan and trade sanctions is now in a weakened position, with its president approaching China with humility. According to him, the real purpose of the visit was to persuade China to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz through negotiations with Iran.

Allama Jawad Naqvi stated that Iran has altered the dynamics of war to such an extent that the United States has now forgotten its earlier demands of regime change, ending Iran’s nuclear program, or stopping support for Hamas and Hezbollah. He claimed that America’s only remaining concern is the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

He further said that a weakened America is beneficial for the entire world, and the world should be grateful to Iran for crushing American arrogance. He added that if Russia or China force Iran through the United Nations or diplomatic pressure to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, it would amount to a serious betrayal of Iran.

Praising Pakistan’s diplomatic strategy of abstaining from the United Nations resolution, he said the time has come for Pakistan not to limit itself to diplomacy alone, but to take full economic advantage of the global crisis like China and Russia. He urged Pakistan to implement its agreement with Iran immediately in order to resolve its energy and electricity crises.
