The nexus between the Taliban regime and Fitna al-Khawarij has been exposed, as a key militant leader made shocking revelations.

A captured militant associated with Fitna al-Khawarij revealed links between Afghan Taliban and the group, stating that he joined due to misleading propaganda against Pakistan.

The arrested militant commander, Aamir Sohail, also known as Maulvi Haider, confessed to his crimes. He said he received terrorist training at a Fitna al-Khawarij center in Afghanistan’s Paktika Province. He claimed that these centers operate with full support from the Afghan Taliban.

He further stated that they had close links with terrorist organizations such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda. According to him, financial support was provided from Afghanistan and by Research and Analysis Wing.

He added that his network included more than 20 militants, including Afghan nationals, and that he was involved in attacks on security forces in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, and Mianwali.

Aamir Sohail said he was arrested while entering Peshawar for medical treatment. He admitted that Fitna al-Khawarij has no connection with Islam or jihad and is involved in terrorism in Pakistan purely for financial gain.

Global experts say Afghanistan has become a hub for terrorists under the Taliban regime, and there is evidence of collaboration between the Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij in fueling terrorism in Pakistan.
