Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, said that Americans should reflect on how a “madman” has become their president.
Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, he stated that Donald Trump is giving foolish statements, adding that members of the U.S. House of Representatives are also saying that Trump should not be president.
Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman further said, “Salute to Iran for resisting American and Israeli attacks,” and added that Pakistan should play a role in this regard.

He also claimed that Israel will now execute Palestinians and that no one is speaking about it. He added that whenever the government takes a good step, they support it, and emphasized that this is the time to move beyond the “Gaza peace board.”
The Jamaat-e-Islami chief said that the public is paying Rs225 per litre in taxes on petrol to the government, and that agreements with IPPs (Independent Power Producers) should be terminated. He questioned which industry in Pakistan would come forward and stand firm under such conditions.
He added that Pakistanis are having to pay $538,000, called for further reductions in petrol prices, and warned that if taxes are imposed on electricity, they will protest.
