Madrasa Administrator Granted Bail in Child Torture Case
Shiite News: An Additional District and Sessions Judge (South) has granted bail to a madrasa administrator accused of brutally torturing a 12-year-old child.
According to details, Advocate Panhal Malik Munir Ahmed submitted a power of attorney on behalf of the complainant.
The complainant stated that on March 18, after the Maghrib prayer, his son returned home from the madrasa in a distressed condition. The child, Azaan, said while crying that he would not return to the madrasa from the next day.
Upon being questioned, the child revealed that the madrasa teacher, Qari Zuhur Shah, had subjected him to physical violence and issued threats.
During the court proceedings, the complainant further alleged that they are now being threatened by the accused to withdraw the case.
According to the police, a case has been registered against the accused at Boat Basin Police Station.
