Key Meeting Chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Middle East Situation

Shiite News: A high-level meeting is underway, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, to discuss the tense situation in the Middle East. Political and military leadership are participating in the meeting. According to sources, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and other senior officials are also present.

The agenda of the meeting includes the volatile situation in the Middle East, the energy crisis, and other critical issues. Sources indicate that potential negotiations hosted by Pakistan, aimed at resolving the US and Israel’s conflict with Iran, are also being discussed.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet President Asif Ali Zardari later this evening, where they are expected to exchange views on the Middle East situation, the potential war against Iran, the energy crisis, and other pressing matters.

Sources further added that the meeting will also consider ways to keep government and allied parties informed, while key decisions regarding security arrangements and Pakistan’s future strategy are expected.
