Pakistan Day Reminds of Sacrifices and Struggle: Yar Muhammad

Shiite News: Caretaker Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Justice (R) Yar Muhammad said that March 23 serves as a reminder of the historic struggle and sacrifices made by Muslims of South Asia for an independent homeland.
Referring to the historic resolution passed under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah at Iqbal Park Lahore in 1940, he said it laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan.
He emphasized the need to follow the principles of unity, faith, and discipline, along with the vision of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He added that Pakistan emerged as a result of immense sacrifices and remains a symbol of hope for Muslims seeking identity and freedom.
He said the armed forces, security institutions, and the public have rendered unmatched sacrifices to ensure peace and stability in the country. He reiterated that the nation stands united against all internal and external threats.
He prayed Pakistan continues to progress as a peaceful and prosperous state ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all citizens.
