Sindh Directed to Remain on High Alert for Security on Youm-e-Ali

Shiite News: Sindh Interior Minister Zia Lanjar has directed law enforcement agencies to remain on high alert to ensure security arrangements for mosques, imambargahs and gatherings in connection with the 21st of Ramadan, the martyrdom day of Hazrat Imam Ali (AS).
While issuing instructions to security officials in Karachi, he said strict security arrangements should be ensured across Sindh, with additional personnel deployed at sensitive locations in all major cities of the province.
Zia Lanjar directed that joint patrols of Rangers and police be increased in sensitive areas. He also instructed that CCTV cameras be used to continuously monitor the security situation through central control rooms.
The Sindh Interior Minister further said that the provincial government is taking all possible measures to ensure the protection of life and property of citizens.
