9^th November 2012 was a day of grief and sorrow for people of Millat e Jafaria when the news became publicized that Saeed Haider Zaidi, who was an asset of the nation, was gunned down at Karim Abad by terrorists of banned organization.

According to Shiite news’ report, Saeed Haider Zaidi was martyred on 9^th November 2012 at Karim Abad area of the city. His wife was also present with him at the time of martyrdom and she told that a bullet was fired on the head of Saeed Haider Zaidi from the back. Martyr Saeed Haider was a resident of old Rizvia and was a famous scholar. He had translated several books of ‘Ustaad Shaheed Mutahiri’ and had also written several books. He had also established a company with the name of ‘Dar ul Saqelain’ for translations and publications of religious books.

On the other hand, Saeed Haider Zaidi was also a member of ISO Karachi division and was active in guiding and training several Shia organizations. Today, three years have passed since Saeed Haider Zaidi left this world but the government and law enforcement agencies have not taken any serious measure to expose his killers.
