Tarlai Tragedy: Severely Injured Sajid Hussain Attains Martyrdom, Death Toll Rises

Shiite News: The tragic incident of Tarlai has taken another heartbreaking turn. Sajid Hussain, a young man who was critically injured in the attack on Jamia Masjid Khadijat-ul-Kubra, succumbed to his injuries after remaining under treatment in the intensive care unit for the past two weeks. With his martyrdom, the number of martyrs in this tragic incident has increased.
According to family sources, Sajid Hussain was seriously injured on the day of the attack and was shifted to hospital in critical condition, where he remained under continuous treatment.
Despite doctors’ efforts, he could not survive. Upon the news of his death, the area was plunged into grief, and scenes of mourning were witnessed among family members.
Social activist Gul Zahra Rizvi expressed deep sorrow and said, “Another home has lost its light.” She demanded urgent measures to ensure proper treatment for the injured and full support for the affected families. She stated that several injured victims are still under treatment in hospitals, while the condition of some remains critical.
Residents said that even after two weeks, the grief of the affected families has not diminished. Many households lost their young sons, while some injured victims are still confined to hospital beds.
Citizens have urged the government to provide the best possible medical facilities to the injured and to arrange overseas treatment if required.
It is worth recalling that the Tarlai tragedy claimed multiple lives and left dozens injured, triggering widespread grief and anger across the country. Social and public circles have demanded that those responsible be brought to justice immediately and that affected families be provided justice.
