Suicide Bombing at Imambargah: Banned LeJ and SSP Supporters Celebrate Martyrdom on Social Media
Shiite News: Following the suicide bombing at Imambargah Khadijat-ul-Kubra during Friday prayers, which resulted in the martyrdom of Shiite believers, disturbing scenes emerged on social media where supporters of banned takfiri organizations Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Sipah-e-Sahaba openly celebrated the attack.
According to Shiite News, the planning, ideological backing, and responsibility for this heinous act rest with these banned extremist groups, which have long pursued a campaign of hatred and violence against Shiite Muslims. The most alarming aspect of the tragedy is that extremist sympathizers mocked the martyrs, glorified the killings, and spread celebratory content online.
Several examples of hateful and celebratory posts surfaced, openly rejoicing over the deaths of worshippers and ridiculing their martyrdom. These posts clearly expose the mindset of extremist networks that publicly deny involvement yet celebrate violence when it occurs.
Observers say such reactions serve as direct evidence of ideological complicity, reinforcing the demand for immediate legal action.
Shiite News strongly demands that the government and law-enforcement agencies take swift, uncompromising action against banned takfiri organizations and individuals spreading hate and celebrating terrorism on social media, including arrests, account shutdowns, and dismantling of their digital networks.
May Allah grant the martyrs the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
