Al-Baqir International Institute Delegation Meets Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri

Shiite News: A delegation of the International Al-Baqir Institute met Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, Leader of the Opposition in the Senate of Pakistan, at his residence in Islamabad and extended heartfelt congratulations on his assumption of this important constitutional and democratic position.
On the occasion, a special congratulatory message from the head of the institute, Allama Dr. Syed Shafqat Hussain Shirazi, was presented.
The message praised Senator Raja Nasir Abbas for his principled politics, intellectual steadfastness, and courageous stance on public and religious issues.
The delegation expressed hope that he would continue to play a strong, dignified, and national-interest-oriented role in the Upper House.
The delegation also appreciated his clear and unwavering position on issues concerning oppressed people, particularly Palestine and Kashmir, stating that his leadership would further strengthen the role of the opposition.
The delegation included Zafar Hussain (Chief Organizer, Pakistan Chapter), Allama Dr. Syed Javed Hussain Shirazi (Director Public Relations), Syed Tasawur Hussain Shirazi (Director Institutions), and Maulana Sarfaraz Hussaini (In-charge, Department of Propagation – Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Imamia, Sargodha Region).
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the country’s political situation, regional challenges, the role of religious and social institutions, and the promotion of intellectual and scholarly activities.
The delegation also briefed the Senator on the educational, research, missionary, and social services of the Al-Baqir International Institute.
Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri thanked the delegation and stated that he considers this responsibility a national trust and will continue to play a proactive role in safeguarding public rights, democratic values, and national sovereignty in the Senate.
